Hospital Indemnity & Accident
There are two “costs” of healthcare. First, is the premium cost. Second, is the cost associated with using it such as deductibles and co-pays. We offer two supplemental health insurance programs designed to help offset some out-of-pocket costs that major medical does not cover. The first plan is called Hospital Indemnity. It pays a benefit for being confined to a hospital because of a covered sickness or accident. The second plan is called AFLAC Accident Advantage Plus and this plan pays benefits due to a covered accident.
Hospital Indemnity Plan Features
- Emergency Accident Benefit Pays up to $100 per accident, 4 times a year
- Specified Injury Benefit Pays up to an additional $1800 per injury
- Pre-existing conditions covered after 12 months
- Maternity leave covered (childbirth must be 10 months after the policy effective date)
First Annual Hospital Confinement
- Each day represents 24-hour hospital admission for a covered Accident or Sickness
- Day 1 $ 500
- Day 2 $1,000
- Day 3 $2,000
- Day 4 $3,000
- Day 5 $4,000
- Day 6 $5,000

AFLAC Accident Advantage Plus Features
- Wellness Benefit for covered preventive screenings
- Coverage for certain serious conditions, such as coma and paralysis
- A Rehabilitation Unit Benefit

- $125 per accident for X-rays and doctor services
